I’m not really interested in making money. ” – Steven Speilberg

Hello, My name is Farooq Ahmed Shaikh. I am 16 years old. I am a bit sarcastic but I make a really good friend and a helper. I like sports, I am the goalkeeper of my college’s football team and I played for my school’s cricket team for 8 years straight. Oh and I support Manchester United. GGMU. I don’t really have many friends but my small friend circle makes me really happy. I am more of an introvert because I don’t really like crowds or public events. I am into tech and with that saying, I really am into tech. I make youtube videos because that is my passion even though many people don’t like it, but life’s too short to care about them. I make it for that one person who appreciates me. And my passion for media, be it videos or Hollywood/Bollywood, is just insane. My favorite series has to be Money Heist because it’s just AMAZING. The plot just blew my mind and everything from the cast to the cinematography was perfect. Literally perfect. My favorite genre is Psychological Thriller because everytime I watch a movie I just want it to mess with my mind and drive me crazy. Movies such as Psycho, Se7en, Inception, Shining, Split, Getout and Andhadhun don’t even allow me to blink because they’re just too good. My favorite directors are Alfred Hitchcock and Steven Spielberg. Their mindset of creating films is what I want and they always will be my favorite.

Choosing Media for A levels was pretty easy yet a bit hard. We’re living in the 21st century and it’s pretty clear that everything works by the help of Media but explaining that to your grandparents is a bit hard. Their minds being a bit old school at first didn’t allow me just like my mom, who forced me to pick sciences in O level, I ended up getting bad grades because I had absolutely no interest. But I decided to take a stand for my future and the best part was my father being there for me. He told me to do whatever I loved and he just told me to live my life how I wanted. Honestly was the best feeling. I took Media with Psychology and Sociology, but again, Sociology is really boring so I regret taking it. I want to be a successful Hollywood director, that is my dream. I want to study in film in universities such as USC and hopefully will. That’s pretty much all about me!
